Bathory - The Woodwoman
Bathory ... întotdeauna mi-a placut viking-ul, însă înainte să descopar formatia asta, ascultam mai mult viking cu folk şi melodic black, însă cu siguranţă combinatia asta de black cu viking sună demential! Deşi-mi place mai mult Nordland decât The Woodwoman, melodia se află printre preferatele mele de la Bathory. Resting by my fire. Looking deep into it's flames./ My mind must have been somewhere else/ Far beyond these plains./ I am suddenly aware of a pair of eyes staring at me./ I turn around and behold the most ugly thing I have seen. - melodia debutează minunat, printr-o serie de note şi acorduri superbe, urmate de o lirică bine-gândită. Plus că ador versurile gen epic <333 probabil de aceea este şi viking-ul genul meu de suflet. Refrenul, I'm but a man. Mortal, a man./ But she leaves no footprints in the snow/ Still I follow on to where she is going/ For she has promised me magic if I follow on., pe lângă nişte cuvinte bine-gândite, mai este şi cântat demential.
