The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya (2010)

* Adaptation of Tanigawa Nagaru's fourth Suzumiya Haruhi light novel.

It is mid-December, and SOS Brigade chief Suzumiya Haruhi announces that the brigade is going to hold a Christmas party in their clubroom, with Japanese hotpot for dinner. The brigade members Kyon, Nagato Yuki, Asahina Mikuru and Koizumi Itsuki start preparing everything for the party, such as costumes and decorations. But a couple of days later, Kyon arrives at school only to find that Haruhi is missing. Not only that, but Mikuru claims she has never known Kyon before, Koizumi is also missing, and Yuki has become the sole member of the literature club. The SOS Brigade seems to have never existed, nor has Suzumiya Haruhi. No one in the school has ever heard about her... except for Kyon.

Now it is up to him to travel back through time to find Haruhi and correct the temporal anomaly.

Un film de care eu n-am fost pe cat de impresionat m-as fi asteptat sa fiu. Desi seria mi-a placut destul de mult (am notat-o cu un 9 cred la vremea respectiva), filmul nu prea a reusit sa ma miste prea mult.
Sunt cateva momente placute, sunt destul de multe mentiuni catre serie care ar face deliciul oricarui fan Haruhi...dar per total filmul s-a simtit ca fiind mult prea lung. Aproape 3 ore din care mai bine de jumate e monolog introspectiv din partea lui Kyon (care, pentru cineva inconjurat zilnic de evenimente supranaturale, se prinde a dracului de greu de faptul ca ceva s-a schimbat).

Oricum...mai astept si impresii din partea altora cu privire la film si poate debutam si o discutie.

To sum up 3 wasted hours of my life that I will never get back:
Alien robot girl wanted a normal life so she changed the world into a normal one. Alien robot girl left the stupid guy to decide if he wants said reality or their weird, supernatural one. Stupid guy although acknowledging that alien robot girl just wanted to be normal, chose the weird, supernatural reality because he was bored. Alien robot girl goes back to being an alien robot girl with no feelings. End of story.

Filmul nici macar nu a fost o comedie, daca am ras de doua ori a fost pentru ca imi imaginam doua metode foarte detaliate de a-l ucide pe the stupid guy ( care are un monolog plictisitor 3/4 din film in care se plange de orice si oricine ). Imi vreau cele 3 ore pierdute uitandu-ma la prostia asta, si vreau sa ii dau in judecata pe cei care au zis ca e o comedie.

La fel ca si "The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" acest anime este o ciudatenie pentru mine si nu l-am putut intelege. Mi-a placut sa il urmaresc pentru ca a fost, sa-i zic "simpatic", dar am ramas nedumirita de substratul si de mesajul animatiei.
