Somewhere in the Devil’s forest, in the Makai, Hiei and a couple of warrior soldiers were sent by Mukuro to verify the territory. It was a calm, full-moon night. Although everything seemed peaceful, Hiei had a bad feeling that something was about to go on:
” You guys stay near, don’t wander too far. I’m going to check the other side of the forest. “
” Yes sir! ” said the two warriors.
Hiei jumped in a flash on a branch and was soon disappearing between the tree leaves in the darkness. After seeing him gone, the soldiers continue on the path in the forest. As the moon shined on the sky in a golden light, some of its’ glowing razes struck down through the forest’s branches, illuminating the ground. Those two warriors considered strange so they went to investigate up closer the phenomenon. When they reached that patch of light they couldn’t see anything abnormal.
” I guess there’s nothing here. Let’s move on. “
” R-right. “ The smaller one wobbled behind looking a bit frightened of the scenery.
As he moved along he stumbled onto a rock in the ground. Curious, he turned his head to see what he hit his foot on. He saw a marble stone that had something scribbled on. He bent down to see better what was written on it.
” What the hell is this? Here lies the resting place of Demasduit. One who shall disturb thy demon’s slumber shall find one’s doom “ wha-wha-wha~aa!! “
Frightened, he leans back knocking over on his comrade’s legs, making him fall:
” What the f**k are you doing?! Don’t ya have enough space?!”
” Y’ you’d be freaked out if you’d read this”
” Well, what does it say? “
” Read it yourself! “
The other one comes closer and bents down to see for himself. As he looked closer, moving his body weight on his arms, he pressed over the ground and it suddenly sunk a few centimeters.
” What the...? ”
” What did you do? “
” How should I know? “
Suddenly a thick fog appeared from nowhere and surrounded them in seconds. The ground began to shake. In front of them, from inside the earth, a giant statue-like form merged. As the fog started to slowly disappear, the soldiers could see it better. What merged from the ground was actually a crystal, a transparent crystal. Around it was curled up a serpent of some sort, while inside it was laying a woman’s body with her hand crossed over the chest.
” Now look who’s the idiot! You idiot! “
” Shut up or I’ll cut your throat, dumb ass! “
While they were fighting over their insults, the creature from inside the crystal opened her eyes which were shining as the moon’s glow. She raised her head starring at them. The serpent opened its eyes as well and began to uncoil off the crystal, slowly. The crystal cracked at the creature’s twitch and broke in thousands of pieces. The two demons got startled by the noise and stopped fighting. As their eyes go to the place where the noise came from they could see the svelte and radiant body of a woman. With a long to the knees shining dark blue hair from which a pair of fuzzy ears were popping out. From behind her appeared a lung and furry tail. With cold purple eyes that show no emotion but numbness she could subdue anyone. Her radiant skin was uncovered letting more of the proof of her being a woman show, leaving the two warriors stunned.
“ What a beauty! “
” Quick! Let’s devour her before anyone else sees her “
She looked up straight at them as if she would see right through them. Her look was almost knocking them over. The dragon that was earlier on the crystal coiled around her leaning its head in her palm. A discreet smile formed on the corner of her smile.
” You devour me?! Fufufufu! “ She let a small giggle out.
The dragon moved aside so she could move out of the crystal. With each of her few small steps, the soldiers pulse began growing along with their fear. They seemed helpless when, although they tried to run, their fear was blocking their feet in the ground.
“ You two really think that you can kill me? Nobody succeeded in over nine hundred years. What makes you think that you could kill me now? “
As she stepped further closer to them with each step it made them step back each time. The fear they gained was growing bigger and bigger. Desperate they try one last time to run away and they succeed only in running, but not away. They achieved into progressing a few meters right into an invisible kekai.
” What the f**k! What’s this?! “
” Ooh! Shit! “
” Did you really believe that you would escape from me? You have nowhere where you can run or hide. “
” This is your entire fault! You’re the one who stumbled on her resting place from the beginning! “
” Oh shit!! f**k! I can’t believe it!! I never have thought that the assassin among assassins also known as Demasduit , the demon that can kill even A class youkai, would really exist. She is considered a legend that has died long ago. But she’s real! Please! I beg you, Demasduit-sama please bear with us and spare our lives “
"Well, well "So you do know something about me after all. I'd spare your pathetic little lives right about now, I am pretty high spirited, but unfortunately, I cannot do that. It has been a very long long time since Osnanahut has eaten and he is kind of hungry. Poor thing, he hasn't have anything while I was sleeping." She said vanishing in a flash.
They couldn't tell where did she disappear or where would she appear back. But their questions didn't remain unanswered for long. She appeared right in front of the bigger soldier. He was so terrified he could even say a word. All she did was to smirk lightly and put out her hand right through his chest as if through water, making him yell in pain. His screams seemed to please her so she started to move her fingers within his chest making him scream even more. She seemed to look right inside him as if she grabbed something. She turned her eyes to the soldier's face, let on an evil smile.
"Scream for me! I want to heart your yells!" she said grabbing something tight and pulling out of his body.
All his body was twitching; all his muscles were contracted by the pain. His comrade was terrified and traumatized to the core by what he was seeing with his eyes.
"Aaaagh! No!!!! Please no!!!
"That's it. I want to hear you desperate voice and agony screech . More!" he said pulling harder. His cries were more and more desperate. In his last shrug, Demasduit pulled out his soul.
She stared deep into the glowing sphere in her palm as if she was mesmerized bi it.
"This soul is no good for me." She said crushing the sphere of light in her hands.
The other soldier just couldn't believe his eyes. As he came to his senses he realized the danger he stated to yell and run for his life.
"Resistance is futile. You can't escape from here."
She moved in her flashing rapidness grabbing the warrior by his suit. Demasduit pressed her chin on his shoulder and placed her hands on his chest. It was as if the painful death itself was hugging him. Her hands penetrated his chest just like they did to the other soldier. Being terrified of death, his fear made his pain seem even bigger.
"AAAAAAA! NOOOOO!!! Aaaaagggh!! Hieeeeei!! Heeeeeelp me!!! AAAAAA!!!"
"I have told you. There is no escaping this place. There is no way pass the kekai I have raised. So it's futile to cry for help. But you can shriek some more. I enjoy hearing the yells of agony."
She grabbed with one hand his head and holds him still so he can't move. The warrior tries desperately to free himself, but it was to no avail. She then bit him on the neck hard making him shriek his lungs out.
"That's it. More! Yell more!" she said squeezing his soul inside his chest.
As a creature trapped, he fights back screaming and yelling with all his might. This made Demasduit smirk.
"Ok. I had enough fun with you but now it's time for you to go. Osnanahut is hungry."
She crushed his soul from within his body, letting go of him to fall lifeless on the ground.
"Here you go my beloved. Enjoy your meal."
Osnanahut immediately coiled up around the body feasting on it like the beast he was. While her creature was feeding on the fresh flesh, Demasduit seemed lost in her thoughts and worried. She raised her hand and put out her palm. On it appeared a beautiful blue rose. Demasduit seemed to be worried of the paling glow that it had. She stared closely to it and noticed how a petal wilted and fell off.
"This is not good. I can't do much anymore to help it. I'm running out of time. I hate to admit this but I need help"
Reaching the other side of the forest, Hiei finally heard his comrade's screams.
"Those two stupid morons!"
When he reached back he saw her standing there. Demasduit lost her concentration feeling his presence and she raised her head looking towards him.
"Kisama! Who the hell are you?" Hiei spoke pulling slowly his sword out of its case.
"You have a nice Jagan there."
"What the? How did she?"
"I guess you can read minds with it, can't you? Well guess what. I can too"
"What?!" he startled.
"But I can't read from a distance so"
Hiei didn't even have a chance to catch her words that she appeared right in front of him and placed her right hand's fingers on his forehead, making him immobilized.
"What the hell?! I can't move!"
"Of course you can't move. I have you immobilized."
"O' Onoree!" he barely spoke.
"I am sure you have seen a lot in your life with this Jagan. Show me if you have seen any plant bender!"
“Hn!" Hiei twitched while he started to read his mind.
Surfing his memories she stumbled over a youkai with silver silky hair dressed in white. A white bandit with cold golden eyes and a cold intangible heart, whom was feared in all the Makai. A legendary criminal who has never been cached.
"So you do know somebody. The legendary bandit of the Makai: Youko Kurama...I heard about him, he is almost as old as I am. So he did not die after all. Tell me where is he!" she said putting all her hand on his forehead.
Try as he might he could not free himself from her hand. Twitching and trembling all around he was unable to do it. Under the bandages, the Jao Kokuryu tattoo began to pulse. Small electric currents began swirling around his arm. As the waves became bigger they started to sting and give electric shots. It began to annoy Demasduit.
"I see you have a pet dragon yourself. I'm quite impressed. Jao isn't the kind of dragon that is easy to tame. But still, it won't be able to stop me. It won't be able to free you." She continued placing her other hand on his arm.
In a few seconds, all the energy that was coming out of his arm has disappeared as if the dragon was put to sleep. With no further interruption Demasduit continued to read Hiei's mind to find out what she needed.
"So that mangy fox is hiding in the Ningenkai. That's enough for me to know. Thank for the Information Hiei the han-koorime." She said letting go of him.
All dizzy and wobbly Hiei could not gain full consciousness on what has happened to him. Demasduit grabbed him by the chin, forcing him to stare in her purple eyes. Then she approached and touched his lips. Her gentle kiss was to make him loose all his consciousness. Demasduit took him in her arms and carried him to a safer spot where she left him under a tree. Then she called Osnanahut back to her.
"Are you done Osnanahut? We have to go."
The serpent rises in the air and flies to her. As he was flying he became smaller and more ghost-like. When he reached her he crawled on her hand, penetrating into a scar-like-mark on her arm. Demasduit looked around a few times to check if it is safe and headed off to Ningenkai.

Pai, chiar daca nu ma omor cu ficurile, acesta imi place...Nu ai postat mult,nici putin, suficient in a nu te obosi si a-ti mentie suspansul. Este interesant, o idee frumoasa, tocmai buna de dezbatut mai departe in povestea ta. Astept o continuare, am presimitea ca voi deveni unul dintre fanii tai, deoarece descrii frumos, ai suficienta descriere, narare, totul e facut ca la carte. Si ce-mi mai ramane e sa-ti urez bafta pe viitor.

The sun was long set and so was Shuichi Minamino to rest. The night was still a calm one, yet �twas not meant to be enjoyed by Shuichi for he started to have awkward visions and nightmares. He was all twitching and swirling in his bed. In his visions he saw wilted roses, many wilted roses. He also heard a voice calling to him, a voice of a woman.
�Kurama. Youko Kurama! Where are you hiding? I know you are in the Ningenkai. Kurama! I will find you sooner or later� �
�What? Who�s there? Who said that?�
�Demasduit did, son. She is after you.� spoke a shadowed person that appeared in front of Shuichi in his dream.
�Who-who are you?�
�I doubt you might recognize me after all these centuries, but if you wish to know: I am Kanoramaru, the mountain lion. I was the one who taut you most of the knowledge you have now about the Makai plants. �
�Sensei? Kanoramaru sensei? Are you really��
�Yes, I am. Though I am alive no longer, my soul still lives and gases over the others I cared for.�
�Why are you here?�
�Like I have said earlier, I have come to warn you about the legendary assassin which is looking for you. I do not know what it wants with you, Kurama, but I do know that it�s coming after you. The assassin among assassins is after you. Beware, Youko Kurama.� the spirit said right before disappearing.
�Wait! Don�t go yet! Tell me more about this creature that is after me! Sensei! Wait!�
Shuichi�s body was all sweated and steamed. He kept twitching and turning and swirling. More visions showed up in his mind, horrid images with corpses. The wilted roses were covered in crimson.
�Come back sensei!!� Kurama yelled out loud waking up.
Next to his bed, his clock went off, its bells ringing �round through the room. Gasping, with his eyes lost in the memories of the dream, Shuichi switches the alarm off. He stood there still, meditating for a few moments.
�So it was all a nightmare��
The rest of the family was still asleep, the time being still early before daybreak. He got up and went to take a refreshing shower. It was five AM in the morning.
�I wonder if an assassin is really after my head� Demasduit? Is the legend about the night cougar that can kill demons in one hit true? Is this assassin long forgotten really back? Because if she is, then it won�t be easy for me to face her.�
Minamino�s eyes were still lost in his own thoughts as drops of water were driping down his face to his neck.
�I wonder how she is going to approach me. I should keep a sharp eye to anything.�
Outside �twas still dark and Demasduit just entered into Ningenkai territory, somewhere in the suburbs of Tokyo city. No one was awake at that early hour, yet as she walked she kept keeping a sharp ear to everything around her, twitching her ears constantly even at the simple wind blowing into the leaves of the trees. She walked slowly yet firmly. In about an hour she reached closer to the middle of the city where she could hear laughs and noises. They came from a couple returning from a party. Demasduit hid herself into the shadow of an alley and watched closely as the pair was walking by�and listened.
�Koji-kun! The party was super! I just couldn�t stop laughing� the girl said still giggling along.
�Same goes for the drinks. Neh, Satomi-chan?� the boy said cling to her.
�I think you had too much to drink, Koji-kun. You're so drunk your breath reeks of alcohol.�
�Who? Me? Relax, hun, I�m well awake!� he said grabbing the girl by the waste. �What do you say if we�d go do some ecchi play back at my house?�
�Kouji-kun. Dame! Let go of me. It�s six in the morning!� she said pulling back from him.
�Oh c�mon Satomi-chan, only a little� he said beginning to grope her.

His eyes turned backwards and he falls down, dead. Satomi could barely understand what has happened. She was stunned seeing Koji on the ground and looking amazed towards Demasduit she mumbled out predictable questions.
�N-nani? What�s going on?! Wh-who are you? ...And� What did you do to Koji?�
Demasduit responded slowly and calmly to the scared girl�s questions.
�He wanted to subdue you by force. I considered that too primitive to be tolerated so I stopped him and annihilated him. He is no longer amongst the living.�
Satomi could not believe her sayings. Unaware and terrified she could not understand what was going on around her.
�Nan-nandato? I-I don�t understand� I-I don�t get it�This is a joke, right? Koji! Koji-kun, wake up!�
�It�s useless, human girl. I have taken away his life. He is dead.�
�No way! I-it can�t be! Why? Why did you do that? This can�t be true! Masaka!�
�He wanted to force you to become his. You shouldn�t cry for him. He does not deserve your pity. He didn�t have a fair life anyway. He was being disloyal to you having affair with another three women.�

�Yes. As you noticed yourself I am not a who but a what. I am not a human but a demon. Thus I need the body of a human. I need your body, Satomi.� She said placing her hands on the girl�s shoulders.
�Nani? What are you going to do? Unhand me. Don�t touch me! Lemme go!�
�Calm down, Satomi.�
�No, I won�t. You want to kill me the same way to killed Koji! Let me go!!�
�Unfortunately, that is true. In order to have your body I must take you life away. But do not worry for I will make sure it won�t hurt you in any way. I will make sure your soul will have rest.�
Their bodies began to glow in a bluish light. As Demasduit pulled Satomi closer to her, the girl startled and started to struggle.
�No. No! I don�t want to die! Stop!�
�Calm down, Satomi. All I want to do is assimilate your body with mine. This will break your soul free from it and so you will be able to reincarnate into a new life�a better one.�
Demasduit pulls her even closer and everything lights up even more. Embracing the girl, Satomi�s body was slowly swallowed by her body. Everything disappeared in the strong light that later concentrated into a small ball of light. The little sphere sat onto two palms, the hands from Satomi�s body. The girl gazed at the ball of light and kissed it gently.
�May peace be with you when you find yourself a new life, Omaya Satomi.�
The sphere of light, that contained Satomi�s spirit, lifted up in the sky disappearing between the last stars of morning.
Shuichi had just come out of his shower. With a toll on his shoulders, wiping his wet hair of water, he went to the balcony. As he was admiring the sunrise he began to meditate again.
�I wonder what awaits me today. I still can�t fully believe it. After all these years an assassin, yet a legendary one too, has been set on to find me. Sigh. I might as well go get ready for school.�
Somewhere in the darkness where everything turns rotted, where the air is thick and never fresh, somewhere in that inhabitable place �twas a coral colored rose lied in the middle of the tar, glowing in a crimson aura. Out from the darkest of debts �twas a creature lied in shadow near the Coral Rose. The creature had messy black hair and snake-like eyes that inspire death to all who looked in them. Dressed in a black cloak, that seemed to spread around its feet and evil aura itself, the mysterious creature smiled diabolically.
�It seems the Princess is back. Her aura is active once more. It has been a well nine hundred years beauty rest, almost entire millennia. I wonder how she looks now. I wonder where are you hiding, my precious. Do you still have that puny Blue Rose of yours? Hehehehe! ... Jaru!�
�Yes, Roku-sama?�
�Send the seekers out. The Kitty has waked and has come back.�

New look that came
with another wilted petal

As soon as the daybreak brought out the sun, people began to rush on the streets like working bees, all kind of people in all kind of cars � trapped in traffic. As Demasduit walked on by in her new body she could only look curious in her reflections. She stopped in front of a shop�s window to see herself better. She could not believe full enough her new brown eyes to what she saw. Her much shorter light-brown, slightly wavy, hair that was merely just over her shoulders. Her new skin did not have the same glow it had before and it looked so different yet still nice. She touched her soft cheek with her hand and continued to gaze onto her reflection while people were passing her swiftly.
�My word these mortals are rushing their lives around here, to think that they are so weak too. Satomi�s body is no exception from that� This is quite an interesting experience in deed. Everything feels so confusing to me. It will take me a while till I�ll get use to this new body� Kurama! I have to find him. I wonder where he could be. I can sense his youryoku. He was here a while ago. If I�ll follow his sent I�m bound to find him sooner or later.�
Shuichi Minamino had just dropped off the Subway train and was heading towards Kyoshi University. As he walked on he kept thinking about what will awate him today and what if he would meet his assassin in this very day. He arrived soon in less than ten minutes at his school.
�Oi! Shuichi-kun!� yelled one of his schoolmates that were sitting at the gate.
�Hy guys.� Minamino responded when he reached them.

�I can sense his aura. He�s here somewhere. Kurama is around here, somewhere close.� Demasduit said as she passed by the school from the other side of the road.
As she realized from where was the aura coming from she stopped and to think up her counter.
�So this is the place where he usually wastes his time. Right now he is surely in there. I�m positive. The only thing that I am curios of is his looks. For all I know he surely taken and image of a human. The thing is I do not know how he looks like a human.�
While she was lost in her thoughts something was rubbing against her legs. Startled she looked down and she saw a little black kitten at her feet. She took the animal in her hand and stroke its fur.
�What are you doing all alone on the street little fella? Want me to take care of you for a while�.Yukio? What do you? Do you like the name?
The little kitten could only stare at her with its big eyes and meow.
As the hours went by Satomi contemplated and focused on her new body. It was still way too soon for her to get use to it. Soon, along with the mid-day hour, lunch time came up, so all the students rushed outside to go and eat. Satomi sat with her new friend on a bench and paid attention to every person. She could clearly sense Kurama�s youryoku.
�Kurama! Yo, Kurama!� Yusuke shouted.
In an instant, Satomi turned her eyes toward the black haired punk and his curly light-brown companion. As she paid closely attention she saw a long red hair student coming from the school towards them.
�They called him Kurama! Now that is interesting. He must be the one!�
�Hey guys! How are you?� Shuichi replied to them.
�Hungry! And in about two hours I got a date with Keiko. Lets� go eat something!�
�Yeah! I�m starving!� Kuwabara approved.
Satomi went up closer to them, yet far enough so they couldn�t notice her.
�I can sense youryoku. In fact two types! I�m sure one of them is Kurama�s. There�s no doubt about it. So this is Kurama�s new look: red hair and emerald eyes. I�d confuse him myself with a girl for that feminine face, so typical for a fox spirit!�
The guys crossed the street to the nearby caf�. They went to sit down at a table out on the terrace. Kuwabara and Yusuke noticed that Kurama was kind of dim and pale in the face.
�Oi, Kurama! You okay?� Kazuma asked him.
�I�m alright. I guess I�m just hungry.�
�So�How�s the university and stuff?� Yusuke asked as well.
�Well. It�s all fine about now. I�m just waiting to see how stuff evolve.�
�Now, how a plant expert like you cans, can have problems in a medicine and science university?� Kuwabara exclaimed.
�I wonder what they are talking about��
As Satomi stood from a distance and wondered, the little kitten in her arms began to struggle.
�What is it, Yukio? What�s the matter?�
Completely ignoring her interrogation and worry, he jumped out of her hands and run straight to the guys� table.
�Yukio! �What in the world?... � Yukio, come back here!� she shouted going after him.
The kitten ran right past the boys� table catching their attention. Curios about what was going on and why was the cat running like that, Shuichi pushed his hair and got up. Right after that, Satomi cane in a rush and stumbled over his foot by accident. Luckily for her, Minamino noticed her and grabbed her in time before her hitting the ground. The surprise wasn�t the stumble but the moment after. When Kurama grabbed her by the waist and their eyes met unavoidably, they both sensed one another�s youryoku. They quickly realized that the other was not as it seemed yet they tried not to react not wanting to blow their cover:
�Youryoku! So he is the one as I expected��
�Who-hoo! Way to go Kurama!� Kuwabara started shouting.
�Looks like she�s fallen for ya!� Yusuke continued along with Kazuma.
�Are you alright? That was a close one miss� You look familiar; have I seen you somewhere before?� �I�m very sure I felt youryoku there. I should keep my eyes sharp�She could very well be the one that is after me. �
�Yeah� I mean no�I mean, yes I�m fine. But I don�t think we�ve met. I mean not yet. I just moved yesterday from another town and I just signed up at Kyoshi University. And thanks for catching me.�
�What were you running from?� Yusuke asked curious.
�Well I was� Funny it is cause my cat is to blame.�
�So, you say you just moved in Tokyo yesterday?� Minamino asked somewhat skeptical. �It�s too coincidental for her to appear now.�
�Yes. I just moved with my folks and I�m still not acquainted to the city.�
�If we may be of help, we could show you the town around and get you to know it better miss� uh� �
�Omaya Satomi desu. Thank for the offer. I�d really need some help with that��
�Me~ow!� meowed Yukio appearing from nowhere at her feet.
�Ah! There you are!� she said taking the kitten in her arms. �Yukio! That wasn�t nice of you: jumping out of my hands and running away like that. I really hope haven�t went to trouble or something.�
�A kitty! What a cute little kitty! Here kitty kitty kitty!� squealed Kazuma petting the kitten.
�So you like cats?!� Satomi observed astounded.
�You kidding?! I love �em! I have one at home named Eikichi� he affirmed smiling.
�You mean you still have that bag of fur?� Yusuke shouted surprised. �Didn�t it die last time or something?�
�No friggin� way! I�m taking good care of Eikichi!�
�Something�s up!� Demasduit whispered to herself suddenly. �There�s something prowling around� �
�Satomi, what is it? Your face suddenly went pale. You alright?� Shuichi asked her immediately.
�Hm? Oh no! I�m ok� I just remembered I should go back and help my folks with the bags and furniture. I�ve stood out long enough and I think I should head back.�
�Want us to help with that?� Yusuke intervened offering help.
�No. I�m fine with that. But thanks anyway. I�ll be one my way. Later guys!�

�Later Satomi!� they said waving to her as she leaved.
As soon as she reached the nearest corner she headed in a rush straight to the nearest dark and unused alley. Once reached it she hid herself well and pulled out of nowhere a blade like object and stand on lookout. Still her waiting wasn�t to last too much for a weird creature appeared suddenly. It was a slimy earthy five-legged clumpy hideous monster. Although it seemed like a failed experiment not viable, this demon was not as useless at it seems for it was pretty fierce and dangerous and quite fast on its feet. But then again Demasduit was not yours simply day to day out of the myth demon. It needed very few seconds for her to put an end to this appearance. All that was sufficient was a stab in the core to make the monster lifeless. Paying more attention to it disgusting yet familiar corpse, Demasduit recognized the creature and its� origin and lets its� body turn to ashes.
�So it�s a seeker � already?! He probably noticed by now that I�ve returned. It won�t be long till I�ll have to face him. Shit! The world�s in danger!�
While she began to concern about this, she took another look at her Blue Rose and she noticed another petal fading. This only made her more bothered.
�Damn! Another one fell. I�m really loosing time!�

�So she must be the one!� Shuichi thought as he sat on his seat looking quite bothered.
�Whassup Kurama? You look irritated.� Kuwabara spoke concerned.
�I�m ok. I just have the feeling that I just have met my maker.�
�Your what?!� Kuwabara startled.
�You don�t really mean that that girl could really harm you. I mean you�re pretty tough, even for me� Yusuke added.
�When I touched her I felt her aura, even if she tried to hide it. And it sure wasn�t one of a human being.�
�You�re kidding! I mean is this really? Cause I couldn�t tell it apart from your youryoku.�
�I still can�t believe she wouldn�t be human. I didn�t feel she�d be evil or something� Kuwabara added while sipping out of his drink.
�Looks are deceiving Kuwabara-kun. �I wonder what she is up to.� Yet I�d wish it wouldn�t be this way either. �
�Well however it may be if she is after your life, she will have to take it through me!� Yusuke added confident.
�Yeah! That�s right! After all Yusuke has the blood of a mazoku! And of course, if anyone tries to harms you, that someone will have to stand against me too, Kuwabara Kazuma!
�Thanks guys, but this is more of a personal thing. It�s best if you don�t get involved in it. It�s about me, my past and my burdens��

Although he didn�t show, when Shuichi made that remark Yusuke felt slightly intrigued and nervous. He swallowed in knots.

�A soka! Hey Kurama!� Kuwabara interrupted the anxiety.

�Any news from Hiei? Haven�t heard of him in ages. How is he?�
�I don�t know. We should of met last night, but he didn�t show up.�
�Maybe he�s busy with Mukuro. Hehehehe!� Yusuke spoke with a perverted smirk on his face.
�It may be� Hmmm�Oh well. It�s time for me to head to my courses.
�Yeah, me too!� Kazuma added looking at his wristwatch.
�Not me! I�m off for a stroll. After that I�ll go see Keiko.�
�Really yusuke. You two make a great couple� Kuwabara commented.
�Ma neh. Well, I�ll see you guys later. Jaa nah!�
Back in the Devil�s forest Hiei was finally came around. His body was stiff and sore and his eyesight was poor and blurry. He could barely move. Every twitch was throbbing for him.
�Where am I? What happened...? Ch� Kuso! My entire body is aching... That demon! Who was she�?�
Turning his head towards the corpses not far from him he soon realized they were from his comrades. Seeing how their bodies were rotting he remembered what had happened.

He pulled himself together and went as fast as he could to Ningenkai.
�Kurama� She�s after him!� he alarmed. �I gotta go warn him� Ah!� he twitched when he felt the soreness once more. �That nymphomaniac of a fox will get his ass fried if I don�t warn him!�
Down the street Demasduit was going to where Satomi�s home should be. Although she was still walking around the city since morning she still couldn�t help still being amazed at the technology and shops around her.
�A lot has changed in these nine hundred years that I slept. A millennium has almost passed in which I did nothing and saw nothing. I can barely understand a thing in this entire new world I�m in. I�m lucky that Satomi left inside her body tons of information about the time she lived in so I can learn easier. Still it�ll take me some time till I�ll get to memorize and understand every weird object, phenomenon or machinery. I never really knew that the human world could evolve so fast and complex. It�s pretty interesting around here I suppose. I almost feel sorry for all the mortals for their short live. It�s a shame they mostly waste it all. Oh well��
�Meow! This new body of yours is very surprising. I barely recognized you, hime-sama.� The little black kitten suddenly spoke as clear as an adult�s voice.
�Ah! My fellow servant and follower, I knew it was you. I was curios to why didn�t you talk from the beginning Yukio.�
�My apologies milady but I didn�t want to blow my cover in front of other humans. And I guess I have kind of lost my will to talk. �
�Oh? Why is that?�
�Well, milady, I lived for some time as this lowlife creature and it�s obvious none other creatures like this could speak or understand the human dialect. So I had no choice but to leave it as it is, shut up and live like a cat that I am.�
�I see.�
�It really has been a long long while since I have spoken a word. I fell rather relieved because of you hime-sama.�
�It�s quite a pleasure to finally speak with you after all this time� So very long time in deed.�
Soon they reached a modest beige colored house at which they stop and enter.
�Ah! Here we are. Home at last. Mom and dad will be surprised to see you.�
�Very nice milady. I almost got fooled by your acting. You do interpretive very well this mortal woman�s life.�
�Actually I am beginning to feel more human myself. I am beginning to feel some strange emotions I have never felt before. Never the less I cannot understand them at all. Sigh. I might as well live with them as they are. At least till I learn to control myself more.�
In the moment she entered Satomi�s parents rushed to the door and were so relieved to see their daughter safe and sound.
�Satomi! Where in the name of humanity have you been?� her mother shouted embracing her as if she hadn�t seen her daughter for ages. �We�ve been worried sick!�
�I am sorry I�ve troubled you dear mother.�
�Troubled? That�s very little said. We�ve called the cops and didn�t close an eye till now! And that is just the good part of it!� Satomi�s father added as well.
�What? Why? What happened? What do you mean?� she asked seeing her mother about to cry.
�Satomi-chan. I am so so sorry� After we�ve sent the police to look for you� Koji... Ah! I�m deeply sorry my beloved child!� she blubbered crying.
�The police find him dead on the street. Dead! No pulse� nothing!� the father continued instead. �Koji�s autopsy is being made at this time. They still don�t know the cause of death. �
�When I heard this I felt my heart pinned! When the police told me they haven�t find you I was so afraid and so worried! Please never do this to me again!� her mother cried.
�Mother��
�I am very sorry for you Satomi. Know how much you loved Koji��
�Actually I�ve just realized today I never did love him.
�Satomi� Omae� Are you serious child?� her father replied amazed to what he was hearing from his daughter.
�He wasn�t for me. I finally put some sense into my feelings ad realized they weren�t real�
�Are you sure sweetheart? You seem to really love him dear.� Her mother commented shocked as well.
�Let�s just try to forget that it ever happened. Tomorrow I have to go to school and I better not think of this, and neither should you. It�s a useless bother.�
�If you wish for it dear� By the way: why did you bring that little kitten along with you?� her mother continued to ask still not fully sure of everything.
�Oh! Him? This is a kitten I found on the street. His name is Yukio. I hope you don�t mind if I keep him, do you?�
�No dear. Not at all. If that is what you wish so be it.�
�Wonderful!� Satomi said with a sunny smile. �Tomorrow I�ll have to go early and get myself registered in the Kyoshi University. I think I�ll manage with that. I hopw you are ready Kurama I know sure now who you are and you may be somewhat aware of me but you won�t know what has come upon you��
